Who am I?

Posted by Fred

For all of you who's life goes on around me!
I'm Sitting in the shade drinking tea!
Maybe you think life is a popularity contest!
Or who's really the best?

Is this a test?........Me Me......Nope wrong answer!

Can you smell the roses?
I'm supposing to be decomposing,
As Time is
Tick ….Tick.....Tick.....
Or maybe not
When I was young Time seemed like forever,
Now with age That Time is gone
Is this a test?......Mars.......Nope wrong answer!
Tick......Tick......Tick..
Venus_____ Nope wrong answer,
What's that smell?
Umm...........A Rose
Glad I have a good nose!
So I can smell That Rose,
But Wait where is it?
My eyes look everywhere
Can You go outside your comfort zone?
As I seem to be all alone!

Are you having a blast as time turns to past!
Do you belong to an inter circle or only hang with a certain few?
As I sit amongst the Mountain Dew,
I see from a different view.
Here I see a bud on the tree,
A flower popping thru,
The sun's shining everywhere.
Rain falls softly from the sky,

Is everyone around you with you or are they against you?
Are you Happy even though you know you're not?
Perhaps a good time for you is drinking beer and getting drunk!
Then you got your memories from the past!
But hey here I am right here in front of you!
Can't you see how sad I am!
Can't you see my Pretty color?

Who am I?

Why I am In You

I'm your Conscious

Christiana’s Secret
By Raymond Golden

Author Ray Golden’s own restless spirit led him on a hunt for the perfect story in the beautiful Rockies. After seeing the ghost of a mysterious woman long dead since the 1800s, Golden began a research project back in 1989 that evolved into a fascinating tale for this, his debut novel. With a compelling storyline and believable, real-life heroes, Golden paves his way to becoming an author worthy of distinction.

Colorado, 1861: a frightened young girl survives a massacre on her people and is taken in by the Ute Indians. Over a hundred and twenty years later, Christiana’s spirit appears in the old Victorian home of Charlie, a salesman and historian/treasure hunter, and his loyal Great Pyrenees, Sarah. What begins as an unearthly sighting turns into a series of dangerous trips to Dead Man’s Gulch, where Christiana once lived. Uncovering Christiana’s hidden diary behind a waterfall, Charlie begins unraveling the mystery, searching for a lost gold mine and finding Christiana’s descendants in modern-day Colorado.

We all have been wronged one time or another.
For some of us were wronged by our parents, others by our sibling, Or maybe we were wronged by our spouse, or co-worker what ever the case may be we need to deal with it.

So how do we feel? It hurts, I want revenge, bitterness, anger
against our perpetrator?

And the battle begins!

Forgiving does not mean forgetting or condoning a
wrong. As we can see from the Sermon on the
Mount, where Jesus speaks of forgiving others for
their trespasses so that we, too, may be forgiven.

He reminded me that in the end we won’t have to answer
for what others do to us - only for what we do to
them.

“Let him who is without sin cast
the first stone.”

Suddenly I realized I wasn’t as blameless as I had
thought I was. I began to see that deep down I held
grudges against them and instead of trying to justify myself,
I needed to get down on my knees and ask God to forgive me.
Then I would find strength to forgive.

Bitterness is more than a negative outlook on life.
It is a destructive and self-destructive power
Bitter people defend their grudges constantly: they
feel that they have been hurt too deeply and too often,
and that this exempts them from the need to forgive

Forgiveness is a catalyst creating the atmosphere necessary
for a fresh start and a new beginning…
Returning hate for hate multiplies hate
Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into
a friend it sets into motion a positive chain reaction that passes
on the fruits of our forgiveness to others.
Jesus teaches us to love our enemies - in fact, to “bless” those who persecute us.

We examine our hurts over and over, and nurse our self-pity.
What matters is standing right before God.

The act of forgiveness carries a lot of power, if there is to be peace,
there has to be forgiveness…

There is a very pragmatic reason for forgiving. When we
are wronged, we can either respond by seeking revenge,
or we can forgive. If we choose revenge, our lives will
be consumed by anger. When vengeance is served, it
leaves one empty. Anger is a hard urge to satisfy and can
become habitual. But forgiveness allows us to move on.
There is also a more compelling reason to forgive.
Forgiveness is a gift - it is mercy. It is a gift that I have
received and also given away. In both cases, it has been
completely satisfying.

I forgive you, and I don’t hold anything against you. At that point
all my hatred and anger was taken away. It was like some great weight
had been lifted off my shoulders.

(Mat 6:33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

When we forgive, we do ourselves a big favor. We heal ourselves of the pain, hurt and bad memories. We discover humility. We rid ourselves of the sins of pride - the biggest obstacle to healing. When forgiveness is communicated, it heals others, and teaches others to do the same, it teaches others humility, it teaches others to rid themselves of the sins of pride. A big load is lifted off the heavy heart. We start with a fresh clean heart to welcome the love of the Lord to flow in. Everyone benefits. It becomes contagious and more discover the ability to love unconditionally and experience the true meaning of joy.

"And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." (Mat 6:12)

"Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

The other spirit does not want us to be healed because we are a child of God, and healing is a testimony to God's power and our faith in Him! We are in a battle, where we have to constantly fight off thoughts of doubt, unbelief, despair, and disappointment. But, we have received the weapons. Firstly, put on the whole armor of God. (Eph. 6: 13 - 18). Then, when you've done all, stand firm in faith, believing that you have already received your healing - despite physical evidence to the contrary!

The devil wants to keep you dragging around a ball and chain of unresolved issues, but God has given you the key of forgiveness. Freedom comes when you forgive those who have sinned against you and when you receive God’s forgiveness for any sin you’ve committed.

“Let him who is without sin cast
the first stone.”

Forgiveness is power. It frees us from every
constraint of the past, and helps us overcome every
obstacle. It can heal both the forgiver and the forgiven.

Yes, the Spirit is willing! Where the flesh falls down is in your thought life! Think about this for a moment. Healing does not always come in the form of an instant miracle. Most often, as explained in (Eph. 6: 10 - 13)

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

"Thy faith hath made thee whole" (Mat. 9: 22)

The Spirit is Willing! Is Your Flesh Weak?

This is not about fighting a battle against a sin of the flesh. It's all about fighting a spiritual battle of faith.

Actually, the verse the Lord directed me to for this message is this one: "I will: be thou clean." (Luke 5: 13)

That was the Lord's answer to a leper, who had begged Him that if he wanted to, he could heal him from his disease. The "I will" of Jesus throughout Scripture was universal. He never turned down anyone who asked for healing.

Jesus "healed all that were sick; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaias the prophet, saying Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses." (Mat. 8: 16 - 17)

Did everyone who was healed have great faith? We do know is that whenever Jesus recognized great faith, He acknowledged it by saying: "Thy faith hath made thee whole" (Mat. 9: 22)

In the case of the leper and others, Jesus instructed them to go to the priest, who was the authority to declare the healings publicly. Their formal declaration was a testimony to all!

Do you have a testimony? Have you received a healing? Did you shout about it publicly to let everyone know how the Power of God worked in your life?

If you are saved, then the Spirit of God indwells you. He is willing at all times to heal you. But, He is waiting for you to ask, and your faith to kick in.

When Peter and John passed a lame beggar, they commanding him to get up, and he was healed instantly. The man wasn't even thinking of a healing; he wanted money! Peter's explanation to the crowd was that the Name of Jesus, "and faith in His name hath made this man strong." (Acts 3: 16)

Since Jesus had died, the people did not believe that anybody else could heal as He had done. Yet, surrounded by all the unbelief, this man danced about, shouting and praising God. He claimed his healing and testified to the whole world about it with great joy!

Why is it that so many Bible believing Christians have no victory in their lives? They believe in healing. But, either they're not sure whether it's God's Will for them, or they erroneously believe that He is teaching them something through their sickness.

Where do you stand? Have you asked for healing directly in prayer, through the laying on of hands, or by asking others to pray for you? Maybe you had a very strong faith and were convinced that you received your healing. But then, somehow, after a while negative thoughts started kicking in!

Yes, the Spirit is willing! Where the flesh falls down is in your thought life! Think about this for a moment. Healing does not always come in the form of an instant miracle. Most often, as explained in Eph. 6: 10 - 13, you need to:

"Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

The other spirit does not want you to be healed because you are a child of God, and healing is a testimony to God's power and your faith in Him! You are in a battle, where you have to constantly fight off thoughts of doubt, unbelief, despair, and disappointment. But, you have received the weapons. Firstly, put on the whole armor of God. (Eph. 6: 13 - 18). Then, when you've done all, stand firm in faith, believing that you have already received your healing - despite physical evidence to the contrary!

Standing firm against logic and negative thoughts is the testing of your faith. Even medical diagnosis is subject to your faith in God's Healing Power! Been there; done that! It works. If God says it, it is so!

"Without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." (Heb. 11: 6)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
"By whose stripes ye were healed!" (1 Pet. 3: 22)
Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

This is an amazing video of a young couples love for Eliot their son.
This is a true test of faith! Sad as it is, I was touched by the way
these parents had so much strength to endure during their time of trial!
What a miracle it was that Eliot lived at all. What are your thoughts?
Do you think God failed them? If so then it would be mean or evil of Him!
Or was it a Blessing for Eliot to give joy to his parents?

Have you ever

Have you ever watched a movie that you really liked! Have you ever when back to see it over again? How was it the second time around? I have done that before only to find a scene in the second viewing that I did not see in the first viewing. It made me wonder " What if I'm missing something in my life?
What if it is the difference between life and death? How could I do something about it, I guess I wouldn't do anything about it because I wouldn't know!

How many other things in my life am I missing? What if any will the effects be? Questions so many questions? I guess I could think about these things and go on and on. So let's face it! I can only react to it and make decisions base on what I know!
Or should I say I can, based on what I know at the time? Does that mean That I made a poor decision or were my eyes not seeing all that I should see!
Don't pass judgment on anyone "you never know where they're at" in their life at the time! We all go thru life and we experience different things, some good some bad! All this makes a difference on where we're at in our lives. That's why we're all individuals. How does it effect our faith! and how can we improve our life!
Turn to Jesus He is there for you! Learn all you can from Him. Read His Book the Bible! And when you fall get back up and go To Him again! Keep going to Him. And yes every time you go back you'll see another scene that you missed the first time.
Jesus understands. Repent your sins. know that He died for you so that you will be forgiven. Go to Him!

Dying Pick-up Living Van!

Posted by Fred in

My Pick-up died on the way Home from a men's conference "The Promise Keepers"At Worcester, Mass.

It was fathers day weekend and it was a perfect day at the conference! We had good bonding time.
Fathers and Sons , fellows from church, friends and just men folk! Praying together, sharing their
Hearts. Some even had Tears! Tears of happiness, some Tears of shame, others just Tears of Joy!
While All of us where Humble Before our Lord!

On the way home my engine seized up at exit B3 on the Mass.pike. Thankfully I had AAA car insurance with coverage to toe me 120 miles. I waited about 1 1/2 hours for the toe truck and a 2 hour drive home so I had plenty of time on my hands. I prayed to Jesus about my situation all the way home. The next morning I got up and decided to try and start the pick-up..................Wow! it actually
started. Right then and there I knew everything was going to be ok. Living on payday to payday doesn't leave you with the extra financing to go out and buy a new truck. I knew the Lord was about to bless me again.

Don't ask me how or when but I just knew it. Work was slow up to that weekend so it looked pretty bleak! Where was the money going to come from? Well Thank You Lord for being there for me again!
My work started to pick up and not only that my income increased! That pick up truck lasted me long enough to earn enough money to buy a Van Which buy the way the Lord lead me to.
I went on with life as you will and 6 years later that Van was still working for me.

Just when you think all is lost and there's no where to turn Pray to Jesus with all your heart He won't let you down!

Lord Jesus, as I commit myself to You this day, I ask that You make me a glowing ember of Your truth, Your wisdom, and Your compassionate mercy. I want my light to shine for You so that all glory will be directed back to You, my source of light. If I find myself in the midst of a circle of employees engaged in ungodly conversation, help me not to blend in. But rather help me to be the light of Your glory in my conversation, full of grace seasoned with salt, so that I will know how to respond to each person. Remind me that it is for Your glory that I do these things and not for the praise of man. Lord, help me to reach just one today with an unexpected act of kindness that will direct the recipient's thoughts toward my Father in heaven. Amen. Crossings: Popular Christian

Finding Water on Golden Creek

Posted by Fred in

Having little money and the need to get water on our land, I prayed to Jesus Lord what am I to do. I have no money and need water on my land. Jesus I ask that you bless me in any way you see fit for you know my heart and my desires.
2 months went buy and winter is around the corner not having water yet I prayed again for god to guide me . All this time as it past I was being drawn to a spot down by the creek, not listening to God can feel like your prayers are not being answered, as that worried me.
Finally I heard what Gods will for me was. I walked down to the creek where I was drawn to for so many times before. I started to dig and dig. The first 12 inches went slow as it was rocky and hard to dig while I was digging I talked to Jesus thanking him for my life.

I kept digging and as I dug the rocks were fewer and the soil became sandy. The sand was dry so I kept digging, before long the sand began to get moist. ( Do you Remember seeing a cowboy movie were the cowboy was lost in the desert then found water as he dug in the sand.) Well it happened to me. I kept digging in the sand when the moist sand began to get wetter. Soon there it was Bubbling water out of the ground, Right where God led me to.
I should have heard him sooner but I did not. Some time we pray to Jesus for our needs only to be disappointed.
Some time we pray to Jesus for our needs only to be disappointed as our patience runs out! I have learned to have patience but now it was time for me to learn that I must listen to Jesus as well as hear what He is saying to me. So now as I reflect back to that summer I realized just how blessed I really am. I Blessed because I am forgiven of my sins. I am Loved!

The Lord is working with me everyday as I am not like Him. We humans fall easy no matter how hard we try or how much we want to be like Him ! I need Him more and more. I need His Unconditional Love. The more I know Him the more I realize how much I need Him. God you are a great God !

Which brings us to why I started this blog in the first place, not to mention the name I have chosen for this blog! good-verses-evil! Think about it! Good being all things of God and evil being all things of satin. So What I am going to use this blog for is to give testimony to Jesus and what He has done for me in my Life! We are coming to a time when the forces of evil are working overtime to do away with all good!

more to come lord I pray for your spirit to work on me to find the words you want spoken here I Thank you Jesus!
